Talking about 'resuscitating' the Staroba Golf Club Blog in the last posting, pakdokter was reminded of an email sent to pakdokter by one of pakdokter's 'sometimes' good friend, pakAli Ariffin. It was about becoming a 'Qualified First Aider'. The e-mail went like this....
I recently went to a company-sponsored course on first aid. There was a short written exam after the one-day course. There were 10 questions and a 100% pass was required in order to be awarded the 'Qualified First Aider' certificate.
The final question was:'If a woman faints, we must first check her pu_s_.' ( fill in the blanks)
Only a few students like me who wrote 'pulse' passed.
So, I am now a "Qualified First Aider".....
