The game was completed by about 430 pm and after a shower and change into fresh clothes, we all went back to the function room for a high tea and prize presentation to the winners of the first day.
Prizes were awarded to the top 6 pairs. The scores were counted by taking the better of the scores from the pair in each hole, adding them all up to give them their gross score and then subtracting out from the gross score, half the total of their handicaps to give the nett score for the pair.
And surprise, surprise - pakdokter's partnership with pakDrAzaiddin won the fifth prize in a tie with the pair of pakZaher and pakNordin, also from STAROBA. Pakdokter took home 700,000 rupiah.
Three pairs from KOBA Tin took the second, third and fourth prizes ( apologies for not being able to put down their names here as pakdokter was still quite 'blur' and had yet to recognise and remember the names of most of the KOBA Tin players - maaf ya pak!) and the winner of the first prize went to the pair of pakYuzer and pakRoslanChik from STAROBA.
Unfortunately, in the tally of the points for the 9 pairs, KOBA Tin came home with 5.5 points whilst STAROBA only managed to get 3.5 points.
Pakdokter's partnership with pakDrAzaiddin contributed 1 point to STAROBA.
