The October Medal was held at the Impian Golf and Country Club, Kajang. 41 golfers took part and this was quite a good turnout for a monthly medal. Some new members were recruited and some members brought along their guests to play in the game.
The pleasant surprise was the return of some 'super senior' members into the club's event. To them all, pakdokter would like to say " Welcome Back Datuk Tajri, YA Yusof Ahmad, Datuk Hod Parman and pakBadry Jaafar". Pakdokter hopes to see more of your contemporaries back into the fold of the Staroba Golf Club. If need be, we can also consider a 'super senior' category in future events to make a fairer playing field.
Pakdokter hopes that pakdokter's 'joke' and 'banter' about having 'rujuk semula' after such a long 'divorce' from us was taken in a 'light spirit.' As pakHjAmin Jidon aptly put it...it was 'benci tetapi rindu....
